eye and architecture

I had heard that the Chi Lin Nunnery was a must for those with an interest in architecture, so I ventured into central to investigate the hype. The nunnery as it stands today follows the style of Tang Dynasty traditional Chinese architecture, using only dry jointing in its construction. It's somewhat meditative to find yourself on the grounds of the Chi Lin Nunnery whilst being almost guarded by the overlooking high rises. (picture 1+2 taken with sigma wide angle lens.
